Sam Ibrahim portrait

Sam Ibrahim is a noted business leader in Scarborough who strongly believes in the capabilities of the community and is deeply invested in it. He is the President and General Manager of the Arrow Group of Companies, which provides strategic consulting and talent solutions to a wide range of industries. He is also a familiar face at UTSC as the Co-Founder of the Scarborough Shooting Stars, the first-ever Greater Toronto Area-based franchise of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). The Shooting Stars play at the campus鈥檚 Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. The new at 澳门六合彩开奖接口 (UTSC) will take the region鈥檚 innovation ecosystem to the next level and equip student entrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to flourish.
 


 

Gabriela Estrada portrait

Gabriela Estrada (UTSC alum) is the Executive Director of : a Canadian charity on a mission to empower self-identified girls through sport and physical activity. She leverages more than 12 years of experience as a coach/facilitator working in the sport and physical activity sector within academic, non-profit, charity and grassroots organizations. Gabriela is strongly passionate about empowering girl-identifying and women-identifying individuals from equity-deserving populations/communities and their relationship with sport/recreation/physical activity/fitness (physical cultural activities), as well as understanding and reducing barriers faced in participating and accessing opportunities to do so.
 
 


 

Anthony Morra portrait

Anthony Morra (UTSC alum) is the CEO of Bladetech Hockey, a sports manufacturing company specializing in replacement steel skate blades. A driven strategy consultant, Anthony leverages an in-depth knowledge of human motivation and training to guide executives on how to develop high-performance teams. He has led multiple startup companies to success over the course of his career.
 
 
 
 
 


 

Avni Shah portrait

Prof. Avni Shah (Moderator) is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Department of Management at the 澳门六合彩开奖接口, with a cross-appointment to the Marketing area at the Rotman School of Management and the Munk School of Global Affairs. Using field and laboratory data, she investigates how payment influences consumer decision-making and consumer well-being particularly in financial and health contexts. Dr. Shah鈥檚 research covers a broad range of topics, such as looking at how paying with different forms of payment influence purchase behaviour and how paying a surcharge on unhealthy food items influences unhealthy food consumption. Her work has been published in the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences: Nexus, Journal of Urban Economics, Psychological Science, and the Journal of the Association of Consumer Research. She earned her doctorate in Marketing at Duke University鈥檚 Fuqua School of Business and bachelor鈥檚 degree from Dartmouth College, double majoring in Psychological and Brain Sciences and Religion.
