Academic Research Resources

Our faculty and researchers can access the support and resources of the , which is the largest academic library in Canada. With an annual acquisition budget of $32 million, UTL鈥檚 research and special collections comprise more than 12 million print volumes, 5.6 million microforms, mor than 17,000 journal subscriptions, and rich collections of manuscripts, films, and cartographic materials. The system provides access to more than 1.9 million electronic books, journals, and primary source materials. Wide-ranging collections, facilities, and staff expertise reflect the breadth of research and instructional programs at the University, and attract unique donations of books and manuscripts from around the world, which in turn draw scholars for research and graduate work.
