The Master of Accounting and Finance (MAccFin) program is Canada鈥檚 first and only graduate degree of its kind. Pursue an Emphasis: Pathways to CPA, ACCA or CFA
- CANADIAN ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE EMPHASIS: This Emphasis is for those who have completed undergraduate education in Canada and aim to pair study in finance with pursuit of the Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Students gain advanced standing by completing the following components of the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) as part of the MAccFin Program: Core 1 and 2, all four Electives, and Capstone 1. Students prepare for co-op and a full-time employment start with CPA approved training offices in public accounting, industry or the public sector.
- INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE EMPHASIS: This Emphasis is for those who have completed undergraduate education in Canada or internationally and want to pair study in finance with pursuit of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) designation. Students gain advanced standing by completing all of the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills requirements and 4 of the 8 Strategic Professional Exams as part of the MAccFin Program. Students prepare to launch their career in business or financial services with a preference for global mobility.
