Meet Oviya, third-year Molecular Biology & Technology Co-op student and first place recipient of the competition, for her research on stressors and protective factors in practicing Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID).
The UTSC Undergraduate Research Poster Forum is a competitive, adjudicated event that promotes intellectual exchange and gives students an opportunity to develop presentation skills by disseminating new research and creative activities both to academic communities and non-specialists. Oviya was amongst 40 research abstracts submitted, and secured the first place prize.
