Key Responsibilities:

Develop administrative and operational processes and systems to support, develop and foster Experiential & Global Learning (EGL) alongside Lynn Tucker (Associate Dean Experiential & Global Learning)

Co-lead EGL committees and strategic initiatives (e.g., EL Steering Commitee)

Liase with tri-campus partners to support EGL at the University of Toronto (e.g., communications with Provost Office, tri-campus co-op initiatives, alignment with key priorities, leveraging resources etc.)

Facilitate consultations for faculty and staff regarding EGL needs, available resources, recommendations, considerations, etc.

Supervise the work of staff within the EGL unit

Support the management and administration of the Experiential Learning Fund (ELF) in alignment with Transformative Teaching & Learning Funding (TTLF)

Lead development of workflows and process improvement plans for the EGL portfolio

Liaise between administrative and academic units to ensure alignment of strategic direction

Spearhead the development and execution of an integrated communications strategy for EGL (e.g., website, SP)

Collaborate with recruitment and admissions on showcasing EGL priorities for recruitment

Collaborating with OR to support EGL assessment, tracking and curriculum mapping in line with SMA agreement, university policies, guidelines and provincial priorities

Managing all reporting needs of the EGL team including reporting on current EGL activities, preparation of strategic reports and documents

Working with co-curricular and curricular/academic units to review and assess departmental EGL needs and priorities

Liaising with faculty and department chairs to foster existing EGL opportunities and support growth of EGL initiatives

Support global experiential learning initiatives in collaboration with VP International Office, ISC and Principal鈥檚 Office
As Experiential Learning (EL) Operations Lead, Anushay Irfan Khan supports Associate Dean Experiential & Global Learning, Professor Lynn Tucker on decanal EL initiatives. She most recently was the Program Integration & Design Coordinator in the Community, Partnerships & Engagement Office and has also previously worked in the Office of Student Experience & Wellbeing.
Anushay is in the process of completing her PhD in Social Justice Education at OISE/UT.
