Helpful websites and tools

The Registrar鈥檚 Office has written out pretty much every step you need to get your degree in the Registrar鈥檚 Guide. It has everything you should know for your enrolment, program, tuition, degree, finances, and so on (and a glossary for those U-of-T-specific terms). 

Using the GPA Calculator to predict your potential GPA is practically a rite of passage, and  is a handy tool to figure out which credits you need for your programs.

The  (SOP) is a huge database of ways to get involved on all U of T campuses; browse clubs, campus events and work opportunities. 

is a chatbot that connects you with general information on mental health resources, admissions, housing, financial aid and more. There鈥檚 also the , which shows you how to contact the right people if you have questions about your studies. 

The  is a portal with profiles of other students looking for roommates, and lets you reach out to people who have similar living requirements.  

The app Sync Search finds study spaces and empty classrooms you can use. 

If you鈥檙e ever feeling uneasy, Campus Safety will travel with you.

The library鈥檚 non-book options

Access  through the library for free; there鈥檚 thousands of classic, academic and blockbuster films. Board games and cookbooks are also available.

The Mindfulness Space has yoga mats, cushy seating, noise-cancelling headphones and vitamin D lamps. In the Student Centre are two similarly quiet spaces for students to pray and practice their faith

Unique services on campus

There鈥檚 a store where everything鈥檚 free 鈥 aptly named the Free Store. Students leaving residence donate their unwanted items and any student can take them. 

Visit the Residence Centre to rent a bike for free; you can also try a  with the Department of Athletics and Recreation. 

Much of the campus is , which grow edible berries that taste a lot like blueberries. Give them a wash and they鈥檙e ready to eat.  

When eating on campus, use the sustainable blue containers. You鈥檒l pay a 50-cent deposit and get that money back after returning the container to a collection bin. (Speaking of food, skip lines by ordering food ahead of time via the Food Mobile App, and students in residence can have boxed meals delivered to their doors).

There鈥檚 also funds to support you if you decide to launch a projectequity-boosting initiative or partnership that will make a positive impact on campus. There鈥檚 more than 250 clubs here, but you can always create your own club and apply for funding through Student Life

You can also launch your own business in our entrepreneurial incubators, The Hub and the BRIDGE, which each have multiple funding opportunities.  

Medical services and same-day mental health care

A big part of the Health and Wellness Centre is essentially an on-campus doctor鈥檚 office. Get treatment for medical needs like acne removal and wart treatment, emergency contraceptives and IUD implants, gender-affirming care and much more. They can also give you vaccines (at a fee), including for HPV, Hepatitis A and B, flu, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis and polio. 

The centre is also where you can get same-day mental health services with a counsellor or therapist. There鈥檚 also group therapy and student peers trained in mental health support. 

(Side note: If you ever experience a mental health crisis, we have a , who comes in plain clothes to discreetly talk with you, and who then sets up a circle of care for you).

Ways to get physically fit

You get free access to the , and its rock climbing wall, Olympic dive pools, a track, a fitness centre, indoor courts and studios.

罢丑别谤别鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;classes and programs for sports and activities, along with drop-in sessions and interhouse and intramural teams. Join sports clubs, including for archery, rock climbing, swimming and dragon boating, and book a health and fitness consultation to start meeting your fitness goals. You can also try out for up for , hosted at the St. George campus.

The Department of Athletes and Recreation runs outdoor recreation trips for skiing and snowboarding, treetop trekking, paddleboarding, kayaking and more (at a heavily reduced fee compared to what鈥檚 usually charged). 

Walk down the Ma Moosh Ka Win Trail to the 澳门六合彩开奖接口 Valley and you鈥檒l find a tennis centre and club you can join for free, along with beach volleyball courts, two multi-sport fields and a baseball diamond, all of which you can rent
