Resources & Supports for Students

UTSC provides supportive environments, resources, and services to empower students to maintain their overall physical and mental health and foster their academic success. Services include health care, sports, mentorship programs, and academic support. Please see the list below: 

  • Academic Advising & Career Centre: The Academic Advising & Career Centre (AA&CC) at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú is one of only a few centres of its kind in Canada. Going beyond co-location of services, AA&CC integrates developmental advising, learning skills, career counselling, and employment coaching​​​​​.

  • : AccessAbility Services is a student service, academic service and University of Toronto equity office on the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú campus. The office provides services and academic accommodations to students who have a documented learning, physical, sensory, mental health disability or medical conditions.

  • : Athletics and Recreation is one of the hubs of activity at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú and a gathering place for those pursuing a healthy active lifestyle. The department strives to create a respectful and inclusive environment that promotes opportunity and overall well-being through physical activity.

  • : The Department of Student Life cultivates strong communities and creates opportunities dedicated to the holistic development and empowerment of students, who will live and lead with integrity, perseverance, and respect.

  • Health & Wellness Centre: The Health & Wellness Centre provides professional medical, nursing, counselling, health promotion, and education services to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú students. These services are offered in a safe, caring, respectful, and empowering environment, which is directed towards optimizing students’ personal, academic and overall wellbeing.

  • : The International Student Centre provides support to international students studying at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú and to students interested in studying abroad. The International Student Centre promotes an internationally informed and cross-culturally sensitive university community that enhances the student experience.

  • : Student Housing & Residence Life is responsible for the development of residence facilities, policies, and student success programs. A team of full-time staff assists residents throughout the year with various administrative issues in residence.
