Professor Zack Taylor is hosting 鈥淪eminar in Selected Issues in City Studies: Toronto Municipal Election. Students examine the mayoral lens to uncover how various aspects of the mayoral race, such as social media, shape the elections. For example, one group of students is analyzing the twitter presence of all candidates. 鈥淭his is an area that some people have looked at in American campaigns, but I haven鈥檛 seen a lot of literature on any level in Canada,鈥 says Taylor. 鈥淚 think they鈥檒l say something new and original with that.鈥 .
