Proferssor Bunce from the Department of Human Geography and Professor Campbell from the Department of Biological Sciences are among the leaders working to reinvigorate the Kingston Galloway/Orton Park (KGO) region in Scarborough. The area is one of 13 鈥減riority neighbourhoods" in Toronto, facing poverty and decampment of residents and businesses. The University of Toronto鈥檚 鈥淓dge鈥 publicaion (Fall 2013 issue) released an article on Professor Bunce and Professor Campbell鈥檚 efforts to use research in community building.
