This accelerated pathway is your route to graduating with two U of T degrees in just five years, while getting a unique combined expertise and the thorough, practical education of the individual English and psychology programs. You’ll bridge the sciences and arts (and get an honours bachelor degree in each) to gain a profound perspective on the human psyche and condition.  

In our English program, you’ll explore a spectrum of texts across history and time, from the written word in fiction and non-fiction, to oral stories and poetry, to visual narratives in graphic novels and film. Develop strong foundations in effective writing, critical reading and critical thinking skills, including advanced skills in grammar, syntax and vocabulary, a deep knowledge of authors, literary periods, genres and regions and the critical reading and thinking skills to create compelling arguments. 

Our psychology program offers you the unique opportunity to explore groundbreaking research and innovative experiments. You'll delve into topics such as how humans learn, adapt and remember, evolve throughout life, are influenced by others and how their behaviour intertwines with their physiological functions. And you’ll gain cutting-edge skills in research, labs and statistical methods.
