The Plant Biology program lets you study life on Earth at different levels, from tiny molecules to whole ecosystems. You’ll focus on plants and fungi, examining how they grow, handle stress, and learn more about their role in genetics, ecology and biodiversity. This hands-on program, rich with experiential learning opportunities, equips you with the skills to tackle global and local challenges while celebrating plants’ unique role in our natural world.  

Interested in simultaneously pursuing a career in the health-care industry? The Plant Biology program is also available in the new Health Sciences Stream, a program that allows you to earn a unique certificate alongside your Bachelor of Science degree that will expand your knowledge and cultivate skills like leadership, communication, equity, and critical thinking—areas that are essential in health care.
