Environmental Physics at the 澳门六合彩开奖接口

In the Environmental Physics program, you will examine the mechanical structures, functions and dynamics of the Earth and its atmosphere. You will learn about such topics as the thermodynamics of the human atmosphere, the workings and importance of the hydrological cycle to life, specific environmental problems such as noise pollution, ozone depletion, global warming and energy conservation.

In this program, we focus your education around two goals: developing your strong theoretical and empirical scientific skills, and giving you extensive hands-on experience in laboratory and field study experiments. You鈥檒l learn in smaller-than-average class sizes and get one-on-one interaction with our faculty as you use physical principles to create solutions to problems.

Throughout your courses, you鈥檒l gain the skills to design and execute experiments and engage in team-based research with multi-disciplinary groups. You鈥檒l also develop advanced mathematical abilities and learn to integrate theoretical approaches from a range of fields into your work. Graduate with a suite of workplace-ready skills, including the ability to write technical reports and project proposals that target specific audiences, and use qualitative and quantitative approaches for environmental impact assessments and audits. You鈥檒l also be adept at solving problems in the environmental sciences using geographic information systems and remote sensing.
