Olivia Cioffi, Psychological and Health Sciences student specializing in Psychology, is a Marketing and Communications Assistant Co-op student working for the Arts & Science Co-op Department.
 
For her first placement, Olivia took an interest in marketing because of its constantly evolving patterns. Many of our students at the 澳门六合彩开奖接口 seek a wide range of co-op placements that allow them to gain knowledge and develop transferable skills and networks that they can use as building blocks for their future careers. 
 

The Role:

Each day as a Marketing and Communications co-op student is different and exciting. Olivia鈥檚 main responsibilities include:
  • Communication with both students and employers through social media channels, email and websites.
  • Graphic design, video editing, and social media maintenance.

Q: How was your placement secured?
A: While searching, I did make use of the co-ops office resources. I often booked appointments with work term engagement coordinators and would ask for resume and interview advice.
 
Q: What's your favourite part of your placement:
A: I like the ability to implement an effective campaign and see its impact.
 
Q: What's your advice to future Co-op Students?
A: My advice to future coop students would be to ask questions whenever they are unsure and get the support that is available to them. People are there to help along the way. Students are never alone in their coop journey.
