Biography
Jeri English is an Associate Professor of French and Women鈥檚 & Gender Studies at the 澳门六合彩开奖接口. Her teaching and research areas include feminist literary, film and cultural theories; contemporary French and Hollywood cinema; autobiography; and 20th and 21st century French women writers. She has published articles and book chapters on writers and filmmakers including Rachilde, Simone de Beauvoir, Camille Laurens, C茅line Sciamma, Fran莽ois Ozon, Leos Carax and Denis Villeneuve. In 2022, she co-edited a collected edition of essays on Denis Villeneuve at Edinburgh University Press. Her current research project examines representations of the monstrous, the abject and the uncanny in contemporary SF films.
