The speech-language pathologist is concerned with the study, assessment, and treatment of disorders of speech and language. Speech-language pathologists assess and treat communication disorders in children and adults. SPL offers MSc and PhD programs are research degrees for students who want to conduct basic and clinical research in the field of human communication sciences and disorders.
The Department of French Studies at the University of Toronto offers master's and doctoral programs in French language and literature and French language. All courses offered by the Department are taught in French by professors members of the School of Graduate Studies of the University.
The Department of Linguistics is widely known for its collegial atmosphere, highly engaged students and faculty, and excellent teaching and research. The Department offers and programs in Linguistics, with three areas of specialization, Theoretical linguistics, Language variation and Psycholinguistics.
Within OISE鈥檚 four academic departments, there are twelve graduate programs (plus specialized fields and collaborative programs) leading to master鈥檚 and doctoral degrees.
