Daniel Zaltz is a social and behavioural scientist who studies dietary intake, food policies, and commercial determinants of health. Daniel is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Nutritional Sciences, University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. He received is PhD and MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Daniel studies food marketing, labelling, and reformulation and the ways public health nutrition policies differentially impact communities based on a variety of intra- and inter-personal factors.
