Jasmine Rault
Biography
Jasmine Rault is an Assistant Professor of Media Studies in the department of Arts, Culture, Media at 澳门六合彩开奖接口 and the Faculty of Information at University of Toronto. Rault鈥檚 research focuses on mediations of gender, race and sexuality in architecture and design, digital cultures and economies, arts and social movements. This includes publications on the confluence between 鈥渃oloniality, digitality and architectural modernity鈥 (forthcoming), 鈥淲hite Noise/White Affects鈥 in queer popular culture (Feminist Media Studies), 鈥Relajo and the Affects of Queer Activism in Mexico鈥 (Scholar & Feminist Online), risk and intimate networks in queer digital archives (Women & Performance) and more in journals such as Ephemera, Ada, Women鈥檚 Studies Quarterly, Interiors: Design, Architecture, Culture; Archives of American Art. Rault鈥檚 first book is Eileen Gray and the Design of Sapphic Modernity: Staying In (Ashgate/Routledge). Rault is co-director of the Digital Research Ethics Collaboratory (DREC, drecollab.org) and the Cabaret Commons (cabaretcommons.org).
