Mediacorp Canada's Canada's Top 100 Employers project recognizes employers who are leaders in developing exceptional sustainability initiatives that commit to reducing the organization's environmental footprint and create a more sustainable future.
U of T was recognized as a leader in sustainable building design, food services, transportation initiatives, waste reduction and community partnerships. Examples include the new , the UTSC farmers' market, the and , the construction of Canada’s – and the work of the sustainability offices at , the and ϲʿӿ to embed sustainability into the fabric of university operations and the on-campus experience.
