#UofTGrad17: Natasha Leghari

If you need a snack or a place to meet up with friends, Natasha Leghari recommends the Bladen Wing Tim Horton鈥檚 or the Market Place, the two places she feels most at home at 澳门六合彩开奖接口.

The Health Studies and Psychology major says 澳门六合彩开奖接口 is the 鈥渂est campus,鈥 and she recommends all students make sure they get involved.

鈥淪tart early and get involved on campus, find what you like and what you are passionate about,鈥 she says.

Leghari鈥檚 activities range from playing on the Intramural Cricket team, volunteering at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and being a part of the Health Humanities Journal Club, a group she co-chaired with her twin sister, Mahnoor.

Natasha Leghari is not done with school, she hopes to go onto graduate school in the near future.

Where did you go to high school?

I went to Glenforest Secondary School in Mississauga!

Why did you come to 澳门六合彩开奖接口?

I loved the close-knit environment and friendly atmosphere UTSC provided. Everyone was really helpful and it was easier to make connections here than other campuses I visited when making my decision!

Why did you choose your program?

I have always wanted to pursue something in health that was applicable and interesting!  The programs I chose (Health Studies and Psychology) contrast very well with each other where health is a major focus in both programs. The professors and their respective departments were also a great help in making my decision on what to pursue.

Quick tip for new first years?

Seek resources on campus earlier on especially since you are paying for most of them and ask for help when you need it! UTSC offers great support to all students, you just have to take the initiative! Also, try to stay on top of your school work; the semester flies by!

What is a 鈥渕ust-do鈥 on campus?

Start early and get involved on campus, find what you like and what you are passionate about! Oh! Don鈥檛 forget to take advantage of great activities and athletic services for all at TPASC! Last but not least, do visit the beautiful UTSC Valley!

If we call you up in five years, where do you think we will find you?

Hopefully traveling the world, helping vulnerable communities and working within the health care system! Overall, I hope to be successful and happy doing what I love!
